Japanese tea time is at 10am and 3pm—that’s when many people break for green tea. Warm mornings are still a novelty at this point, so I skipped the green tea for a pot of Lupicia’s Alphonso Mango tea with half an avocado divided between two slices of wheat toast, topped with a dash of salt, pepper, turmeric and sweet curry.
Slow Monday mornings are vital for my week’s sanity—when I spend this morning cleaning the house, getting the week organized, preparing English lessons, sending invoices, etc. the rest of the week goes smoother. Three day weekend? Give me Friday off over Monday any time!
