DELAYED

Like the rookies that we AREN’T, Chris and I failed to check our flight status before we left. I guess in all the moving chaos we forgot we forgot standard traveling protocol. So my cousin Jesse drops us off at the airport and we lug our 10,000 bags and cat to the counter, only to find out it now leaves in SEVEN HOURS HELP US ALL. And the gato will have to stay the night in animal quarantine. And Chris still has to start work in the morning. Help us all. 

On the plus side, we are waiting at the nicest USO I’ve ever seen, in their enclosed outdoor patio with free food, a fresh sea breeze, and swaying palms. For a five-hour delay, it’s really not so bad. 

Until the kids started screaming anyway. Hey! My dress/shoes/necklace match the plane tickets!
