Dining Out in Tokyo

I don’t usually blog about squadron stuff because…I don’t know why. I guess because there’s not a whole lot to say: “We drank wine! We made toasts! We had a speaker! He spoke! Dinner was tasty!” Usually it’s just a bunch of fun people having fun saying stuff that maybe or maybe not should be repeated in public. But anywho, Chris asked if I was going to blog about our very first official Dining Out ever so…ta-da! It was in downtown Tokyo and Chris finally got to see the dress I bought while we were engaged because he said I was going to be going to a lot of formal events from now on. Aaaaaand three years later this was the first formal where we weren’t moving and he wasn’t deployed! Chris had the steak with mashed potatoes; I had the chicken with rice. The after dinner port was delicious; the grog was foul. Chris had to drink it for having a mustachio, and I had to drink it for liking said mustachio. Life’s not fair 🙂 Fun was had by all.
