Chris flew in from San Diego yesterday afternoon—THURSDAY. I have been trying to get to Waikiki on a Thursday night forever! There are free hula shows at the Kuhio Beach Park hula mound Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays at 6pm. After school we picked Chris up and got dinner at Duke’s for the very first time, scoring a table with views of Diamond Head, the sunset, surfers, and live ukulele music. The hula show was a short stroll down the beach. We are having a crazy week, but Thursday night felt like we were on vacation for sure.
