Our time in Florida is done. We have had more glorious weather in the past month than we ever had any time we lived here. Our last week brought our only spat of gray weather, and our very last day dawned sunny and clear. We celebrated Chris’ completion of Safety School, had lunch at the Mustin Beach Club, where we ran into some old friends, then Chris left for the airport. The kids and I stayed on the beach until the sun set on our last day along the Gulf Coast.
The moon was out. Pelicans dove and splashed. Old war planes flew overhead in preparation for the next day’s Blue Angel Homecoming Airshow. We got back from Japan the same weekend as this airshow five years ago with baby Isaac. And now we’re off on another adventure!
