Summer is here! Isaac loves pineapple, watermelon, cottage cheese, etc. He’s gained a couple pounds this week and is a little chunk! We celebrated Memorial Day at our friends the Sharp’s BBQ and Isaac splashed in the kiddie pool with all the other babies. He loved it! Summer is looking good here in Florida. Chris hasn’t had a Memorial Day off in years, and I especially remember a lonely Memorial Day spent on duty one year when all the burger places were closed, even McDonald’s. It’s one of those weird holidays you don’t remember really celebrating until…you don’t. This year was the opposite of those years. Happy Memorial Day!

My sentiments exactly. Who knew that Memorial day could be so great? That is one adorable little blond buddy you have there! I can never remember if blond for guys is with an "e" or without? Anyway, I intended the male "blond," not the female blonde??
