Mushrooms are so FALL. And they were everywhere I looked in the Kenai Peninsula. Red berry bushes, golden birch leaves, and MUSHROOMS.
Amber had a book about wild Alaskan mushrooms. Constantine wanted me to read it to him, so I did my best to do a dramatic, entertaining performance of fried chicken mushrooms, orange delicious mushrooms, etc. Isaac got his blankie and joined us on the couch. Eloise crawled over and pulled up. Our favorite part was learning which ones are POISONOUS.
After that I saw mushrooms everywhere. But I have no idea whether these are poisonous or not.
