Ports of Call Tea Party

Chris arrived home via the Philippines, where he saw a lot of cool places and islands and bought me this tablecloth! It matches other tableware we have really well, including this tea set his parents gave me for Christmas last year. Tablecloth: Philippines, chopsticks: Singapore, candlesticks: South Korea, bamboo napkin rings: Pineapple Post in Jacksonville FL, everything else: Texas. Perfect for a late summer afternoon honeysuckle tea. Or actually it’d make a nice dessert setting for what Chris and I had the other evening: a late chenin blanc we bought at Lancaster Winery on our Australian Swan Valley wine tour with those huge sweet concord grapes that are everywhere right now. But you probably wouldn’t need the chopsticks for grapes.
