…and by figure skating, I mean we skated in the figure of a wobbly circle. The outdoor skating rink on the bay by the Red Brick Warehouses has a nice view of the Yokohama skyline. Skate all you want until 10pm for about $10/person (open through February). We didn’t skate that long–we went inside after a couple hours to warm up over some Cafe Bellbe cocoa before meeting friends for dinner at Bar Bar Bar for 20’s-style jazz, appetisers and Cuba Libres. Kampai! 
Regarding my new hair, I wrote a haiku:
Quiet seaside waves
On the shore in a snow globe
Tossed in the dryer
or:
I said no curls, please
Does this look like waves to you?
My head’s one big poof
Oh Snow!
