I hate that dumb quote about enjoying the journey over the destination. Huh? However, I think that would be specifically applicable here on Lantau Island (烂头), Hong Kong’s biggest outlying island floating serenely in the mouth of the Pearl River. The 5.7-kilometer Ngong Ping Cable Car lifted Chris and me up and over the river, along the airport and over the mountains to the Tian Tan Buddha monastery for a vegetarian lunch and a mini-hike up to see the big bronze Buddha.

That is so cool! What a neat experience Mari!
Cable cars! Neat! That reminds me of the ones they used to have at Astroworld, but those sound much cooler.
